Malampuzha Dam and Gardens

One of the another important attraction at palakkad,Situated about 10 km from Palakkad Town, Malapuzha Dam  and Gardens is the largest reservoir in Kerala. 

As many others i have been here several times,i have seen her new and old look,It is amazing to see the works on the ground,"Malambuzha Yakshi " One of the famous Sculpture by Kanayi Kunhiraman at Malampuzha Dam,whcich is very attractive and you will forget to take your eyes off ,,,

Malambuzha's another attraction is the Aquarium which built in the shape of "FISH"lot of different breeds of fishes are there inside for your View

Malambuzha Reservoir project to provide water for irrigation, drinking, industries, power generation, fish farming and water transport.

This is the most important thing which you have to see,Watch your steps and never look down it just near to the shutter when shutters are opened at the maximum the bridge will swing on its own style,in the old days it was having a very wonderful other look,

If you would like to have an aerial view and if you would like to travel over the dam this is it"The rope way"will make you the feeling of "that you got wings"
